Choose between a dainty CZ birthstone lariat OR Y necklace. This lovely necklace gets personalised by a custom hand stamped initial on the reverse side of the CZ charm.

After making your selections from the drop-down menus, please indicate at checkout (in "Add note to StudioVy" box):

1. Your closure option (for Y necklace only.) Our default is the infinity/S-hook.

Lariat necklaces do not have clasps. To secure necklace, just loop the charm twice through the hoop. If looping the charm twice around the hoop doesn't work, you can try this way: loop the charm twice around the hoop, but at the second looping, put the charm through the second loop itself, kind of creating a knot. This way is much more secured (but will also be more difficult to take off :)

True lariats are adjustable, depending on how high or low you wear the hoop.

Materials

All components are .925 sterling silver or 14K gold filled:

• 1.4mm cable chain

• 5.5mm CZ charm w/ initial stamped on back

• 11mm hoop on lariat

• infinity/S-hook OR spring clasp (Y necklace)

• jump rings

• Lariat: 20" overall length (I could also make this 18"", 19", 21", or 22" upon request)

• Y necklace: 16" overall length (I could also make this any length between 14" - 18" upon request), PLUS a 3" drop

Care guide

Ear care and safety instructions

• Always sanitize earrings by dipping them in hydrogen peroxide or Polysporin before threading through your ear
• if you have super sensitive ears, clean piercing area with the same solution at least twice a day for minimum 2 weeks.

Jewelry Care - General

Use only a soft jewelry polishing cloth to clean your jewelry.
Avoid contact with salt water, chemicals (i.e. chlorine, detergents, perfumes, hair spray, lotions) & chemical cleaners, which might damage the metal & gemstones/crystals. Practice last on, first off with jewelries!

Please be gentle with your jewelry. Excessive force or tugging may cause the wire work to misshape. If this happens, gently bend the wire back into its original position.

Please remove before showering or swimming, and keep away from moisture. Store them separately in airtight containers or ziplock bags.

Jewelry Care - gold filled

While gold filled is tarnish resistant, chemicals (even the salt from sweat) and frequent exposure to water can cause it to become dull. To bring back the shine, gently wash in mild soapy water and wipe with a soft cloth.

Jewelry Care - sterling silver

All sterling silver tarnish over time but you can deter the oxidization process by storing them in airtight containers or ziplock bags.

You can clean sterling silver with a jar of silver cleaning solution (from Amazon or Walmart).

Alternatively, follow the instructions here for a DIY cleaning solution with ingredients most of us already have at home.

Jewelry Care - stainless steel

If your stainless steel jewelry is very dainty or has crystals in it, please follow the general care instructions above.
If your jewelry is all stainless steel, very little maintenance/care is required: You can wear it in the shower, swimming in chlorine-filled pools, and in salt water! You don't really need to take it off for anything - other than the occasional polishing when required!

Jewelry Care - electroplated crystals

The electroplated part crystals are made by electroplating a thin layer of gold or silver over an alloy metal such as brass. To keep this layer longer lasting, please minimize exposure to water and chemicals.
If your electroformed layer on the crystal has worn off, you can easily re-create the look yourself with a coat of enamel. See tutorial video here

Almost every piece of jewelry that you order from studioVy is made by hand, and the production time is usually 1 to 3 days. Once your jewelry is made, we ship it right away.

This is the transit time frame for standard shipping after dispatch:

Canada: 2-18 business days (depending on the option you choose at checkout)
USA: 3-10 business days (includes tracking)

Return/Exchange

Buyer must contact us and send item back within 14 days of delivery. Please note that we do not accept returns/exchanges on custom, personalized, made-to-order, and personal items such as earrings due to health/hygiene reasons.

Buyer is responsible for return postage costs
Buyer is responsible for loss in value (as agreed upon with seller) if an item isn’t returned in original condition
If you're returning an item that was part of a qualifying free-shipping order, we can only refund you the cost of that item, minus the shipping cost that would have been charged on the order without that item.
